To view our video that was put together in 2022, please click here.  Please note: This gives a great overview of our school, and as with all things, our thinking has moved on.  Our focus on Foundational knowledge is key and ensuring that children are no longer taught through play but still progressively from 2 to Year 2 is key.

In-Year Admissions

To apply for a place at Field Court Church of England Infant Academy, parents should complete an application form which can be obtained from https://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/education-and-learning/school-admissions/applying-for-a-school-place-during-the-school-year/

Please return completed forms to Field Court C of E Infant Academy, Courtfield Road GL2 4UF or via email to admin@@fcia.dgat.org.uk

We will offer in-year places up to the overall capacity of the year group and we cannot guarantee a place at the academy if the number of children has reached the overall capacity.  All in-year applications will be considered, depending on the availability of places and prioritised according to the oversubscription criteria as stated in the Admission Arrangements Policy.

Consultation

The Diocese of Gloucester Academies Trust (DGAT) acting in its role as admission authority of Field Court C of E Infant Academy is currently determining proposed admission arrangements for admissions to the school in September 2026. As determined by the School Admissions Code, the Trust is required to consult on these arrangements, and invites comments on the proposed changes. A copy of the proposed admissions policy is available on the DGAT website for your information. Alternatively, if you require a hard copy of the policy please contact Nicki Wadley, the Trust’s Head of Governance and People directly at contactus@cen.dgat.org.uk with ‘Admissions Policy Comments’ as the email title.
