INTERACTIVES

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

Infant school children will be escorted to the hall by a member of the school staff. Junior school children will come over once they have been released by their class teacher. If a child is going to be absent, it is essential that the club staff are notified by contacting them on 01452 720257 during school hours or Mobile 07565 194784 during Interactives' times.

Parents or carers will collect their children after signing them out on the register. The parent of every child is responsible for ensuring that their child is collected on time. If there is any unavoidable delay, it is the parent’s responsibility to make alternative arrangements for collection and advise the Manager.

The club will only release children into the care of individuals who have been named by the parent and no child will leave the club unsupervised.

Could parents please ensure the club manager is aware of any person not permitted to collect your child (e.g. as a result of a court order).

LATE COLLECTION

Children must be collected at their official collection time. We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances happen, which may make you late to collect your child.

Please contact staff to inform them that you will be late with the reason and an estimated time in which you will arrive.

If staff are not informed or lateness is a regular occurrence, then a charge of £15 will be made per child, for each time the child is picked up late.

Late collection will be discussed with parents at the earliest convenience.

Parents should be aware that the club closes at 6.00pm and that the staff are not available to look after your child after that time. If a child has not been collected by 6.00pm, the manager will call all contact numbers to discover the cause for the delay and how long it will last.

If after repeated attempts, no contact is made with the parent/carer or emergency contact the manager will call the local social services department or police for advice.

EMERGENCY LATE COLLECTION

There may be extreme weather and other incidents which prevent parents from collecting their children at their agreed time. In this event the Club will ensure that children are kept safe and well.

It is the parent’s responsibility to arrange for someone to collect their children on their behalf. All parents must ensure that they have an emergency contact living nearby who would be able to collect their children in an emergency. It is the parent’s responsibility to ring their emergency contact and let the club know who the child is being collected by and at what time. The club will do all it can to help with those arrangements.

PLEASE NOTE

Parents are requested not to use the staff car park when collecting or dropping off their children. Please observe the parking restrictions outside the school. Access is by the smaller gate nearest the Infant school entrance. The gate is on a magnetic catch, please pull once the gate has been released.
