Looking for an exciting opportunity? Looking to be challenged? Looking for a place where laughter will be as important as hard work? A place where you could not only support the positive impact on individuals’ lives but a whole community?
Look no further…. you may be looking at your future…Field Court C of E Infant Academy has a warm, inclusive environment that gives its pupils and staff every opportunity to achieve their best.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support a pupil in Year 2 with their identified needs as stated on their EHCP and in the wider school. You will work closely alongside the class teacher and SENCO, and will keep accurate records of the child’s progress and wider accomplishments against outcomes outlined in their EHCP.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible in their approach, have patience, display a caring attitude and be able to communicate effectively to understand and support the children’s needs accordingly.
It is our aim that all children enjoy being educated at Field Court C of E Infant Academy. We strive to provide an environment in which children feel safe, secure, confident, happy, valued and involved. Our school is a vibrant place to work and play and is highly regarded for its welcoming and caring ethos. We are part of the Diocese of Gloucester Academies Trust whose vision is to build and sustain a community of learning where staff and children can realise their potential and enjoy life in all its fullness whilst developing a distinctly Christian Ethos.
You will be joining the Academy at a very exciting time in its development of SEN practice and will benefit from working in a creative and innovative environment, with opportunities to work alongside skilled practitioners who put children’s outcomes at the heart of all they do.
