Thank you for visiting our website, where you will find all sorts of information about our school.

It is our aim that all children enjoy being educated at Field Court C of E Infant Academy. We strive to provide an environment in which children feel safe, secure, confident, happy, valued and involved. Our school is a vibrant place to work and play and is highly regarded for its welcoming and caring ethos.

We believe in the educational development of the whole child. We offer a wide range of opportunities for curriculum enrichment through theme days, school trips and extra-curricular activities. We value all our children’s achievements and enjoy celebrating all their successes. Children are actively encouraged to show consideration for others, respect for the environment and each other and a commitment to producing high standards in all aspects of their education.  As a school community we seek to demonstrate the following 12 Christian Values:

Generosity, Compassion, Courage, Forgiveness, Friendship and Respect.
Thankfulness, Trust, Perseverance, Justice, Service and Truthfulness.

We have the following vision for Field Court C of E Infant Academy;

Our Christian Values are at the heart of all we do.  We provide a happy, creative, exciting and inspiring environment, where children believe in themselves and achieve their fullest potential.

I hope this website is useful to all who view these pages and we look forward to its further development. More information can be read in our newsletters.

To be truly successful we believe the education of our children must be seen as a partnership between all those concerned; home, pre-school/nursery and school. We consider ourselves very much a ‘family school’ – our children really do enjoy each other’s company. With the Little Explorers situated in the school grounds, we have excellent provision for children aged 2 to 7 all on one site.

Our new nursery has launched! We had an opening ceremony where Dave Norman praised the efforts of all the staff who had made this happen.

Little Explorers have had an action packed start to the year.

Our Breakfast Club has been busy since the start of term. The school hall is filled with the smell of toast and fresh fruit each morning along with the sound of busy children.

After School Club have had lots going on this term. Our children have been filling their afternoons with model building, art work, sports activities, imaginary play and lots more beside.
